Supporting Local & Global Communities
Buckner International
Buckner International transforms the lives of vulnerable children, enriches the lives of senior adults and builds strong families through Christ-centered values. Every year, we go to the Buckner Center for Humanitarian Aid and pack shoes for their Shoes for Orphan Souls Campaign. These shoes are delivered both locally and globally, depending on need.
in recent years
We’ve supported over 34 organizations, including…
Red Nose Day
Red Nose Day is a campaign to end child poverty, one nose at a time. Through the power of entertainment, Red Nose Day raises money and awareness to ensure children who need our help the most are safe, healthy and educated in America and around the world.
Herb's Paint & Body Down Syndrome Guild Golf Classic
All proceeds from the Golf Classic were to benefit the Down Syndrome Guild of Dallas, which helped to fund the programs and assist in the long-term growth of the organization. The Down Syndrome Guild of Dallas provides accurate and current information, resources, and support for people with Down syndrome, their families and the community.
Lake Highlands Junior Women's League
The Lake Highlands Junior Women’s League seeks to instill a sense of community for young women in Lake Highlands through volunteer and social activities with a focus on beautification and development of the community.
Brother Bill's Helping Hand
Brother Bill’s Helping Hand provides food, healthcare and education programming to those in need in the West Dallas and Oak Cliff community. They bring positive change to people’s lives by providing them with tools, resources and hope. Brother Bill’s Helping Hand has been serving the West Dallas community for more than 75 years. Its core programs include a grocery store, where neighbors have access to healthy food; access to quality healthcare for the uninsured; and education programs that include English classes, computer courses and fitness programs.
Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Walk
In 2020, TexCap raised over $3,500 in honor of TexCap employees affected by breast cancer. Susan G. Komen is the only organization that addresses breast cancer on multiple fronts such as research, community health, global outreach and public policy initiatives in order to make the biggest impact against this disease.
Fortress
Fortress serves families in Fort Worth’s Historic Southside who are working to interrupt the cycle of generational poverty. Through licensed preschool, after school, and parent engagement programs, Fortress’s goal is to provide the hope, relationships and resources these families need to stabilize their lives and raise happy, healthy kids. Their dynamic dual-generational approach is designed to ignite spiritually, engage relationally, and equip academically.

What Our Team Members Say
From our volunteer work with Buckner International to collecting school supplies for underprivileged youth to toy drives at Christmastime – serving is genuinely a calling that is tangible and palpable within our agency all year long.
One of my favorite service projects is the time spent volunteering at the Buckner Center for Humanitarian Aid; so many children from around the world will be positively impacted, and imagining their joy makes it more than worth it.
