Gaylon graduated from Hardin Simmons University in 1971 and began his insurance career with Millerman & Millerman Insurance Agency (M&M). He became a partner at M&M in 1975, which was later sold to Brook Crawford & Associates in 1992, and subsequently to Hilb, Rogal & Hamilton (HRH) in 1994, Gaylon served as Executive Vice President of HRH until his resignation in October 2005, at which time he helped found TexCap Insurance.

He has served on many state and local associations and committees, including having served as president of the Independent Insurance Agents of Dallas. Gaylon recently served as Chair-Elect of the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas. Gaylon has also sat on many advisory boards for insurance companies we represent.

Gaylon is married to Sue and has three grown children. He is a member of Park Cities Baptist Church and Gleneagles Country Club.

Scott graduated from Southern Methodist University with a double major in marketing and finance in 1972. Prior to joining the TexCap Insurance team in 2005, he was president of Miles & West Agency from 1981 to 1998, an executive vice president for Benchmark Bank from 1998 to 2001, and Vice President of Commercial Sales with HRH from 2001 to 2005.

He has been involved in several committees of the local Independent Agents Association and has served as President of the Independent Insurance Agents of Dallas. He is a board member of the SMU Letterman’s Club, and he is on the development board of the Cox School of Business. He is the founder of the SMU Insurance Council for MBA students.

Mike is the Co-President & Chief Business Development Officer for TexCap Insurance. As Co-President, he is jointly responsible for the management and strategy for all of the organization’s practices. As Chief Business Development Officer, he oversees the Advisors and the flow of overall business relations. In addition to his leadership role, Mike also advises his business insurance clientele.

Mike graduated from the University of Texas in 1987 with a bachelor’s degree in economics. Later that year, he began his insurance career with Mutual Benefit Life in Dallas. In 1988, Mike accepted a position at Miles & West Agency where he received extensive agent training. He remained with that firm as an agent and owner through its purchase by Texas Capital Bank in 2005 and during the form of TexCap Insurance.

Mike is a member of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association and the Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Association. He lives in Dallas with his wife Brooke and their three children.

Drew is the Co-President & Chief Operating Officer for TexCap Insurance. As Co-President, he is jointly responsible for the management of and strategy for all of the organization’s practices. As COO, he oversees the operations team and the day-to-day workings of the agency. In addition to his leadership role, Drew also advises his business insurance clientele.

Drew graduated from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas, majoring in Business Honors and Finance. In July 2010, Drew joined the TexCap Insurance family and has found his home in the organization.

Drew served as The 2021 President of the Independent Insurance Agents of Dallas (IIAD). He also serves on the ELITExas young agent council with the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas (IIAT). Drew is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) which represents a career-long commitment to stay on top of important industry changes and to be aware of new risks that arise in order to better serve his clients.

Drew and his wife, Kelley, live in Dallas with their three children. They are active members of Park Cities Baptist Church.

Pat graduated from Tarleton State University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science degree. He holds a business insurance specialist designation (CLCS) from the Hartford School of Insurance and has been at TexCap Insurance since 2008.

Through years of experience, he has developed the ability to provide long term risk management programs for clients across many industries with world-wide exposures, including galvanizing, oil & gas, manufacturing, restaurants and many more.

He is also a proud member of the American Galvanizers Association, where he works alongside some of their biggest affiliates. Pat became a partner at TexCap in 2015.

Nicole graduated cum laude from The University of Texas at Arlington earning a degree in business management in 2006. She has worked in the insurance industry ever since, starting at a small agency in Arlington during college. Nicole joined the TexCap family in 2011 and leads the agency’s Private Client Group specializing in insurance for the highly successful clientele.

Nicole currently serves on the Independent Insurance Agents of Dallas (IIAD) Young Agents committee and is an active member of Junior League of Dallas.

Nicole and her husband, Mark, live in Dallas with their two sons. They are active members of St. Rita Catholic Community and enjoy sports, traveling, and live music.

Scott graduated from The University of Texas at Dallas earning a Master’s Degree in Accounting in 2011. He has worked in the insurance industry since 2008 and joined TexCap as their Controller in 2015.

Scott and his wife, Heather, live in Allen with their daughter and son. They enjoy sports, traveling, and playing games together.

Danielle McCullar has been with TexCap since March of 2008. Her career journey has evolved exponentially since joining the industry, from being our front desk receptionist to a Client Service Representative to Client Manager and now, Director of Operations for TexCap’s growing Business Insurance Department.

Danielle became a TexCap Partner in 2024. She lives in Plano with her Husband Cody and daughters Ashlynn and Audrey.
